Thick slightly succulent leaves striped green, cream and pink-purple, with soft pink to purple undersides.
Compact branching stems trail or mound; responds well to pinching and re-rooting cuttings.
Tradescantia honours the Tradescant family of gardeners; Nanouk is the cultivar denomination.
Patented as a distinct cultivar of Tradescantia, botanically designated Tradescantia albiflora, with cultivar denomination 'Nanouk'.
Give bright indirect light for best colour. Let the top layer dry before watering and avoid wetting the crown repeatedly.
Refresh often from cuttings rather than keeping an old woody plant forever. Use a light draining potting mix.
Monthly at half strength in spring and summer.
