Description
Thin oval leaves with translucent pale green panels, dark feathered markings and reddish undersides.
Clumping rhizomatous prayer plant with upright leaves that move in response to light.
Botanical Notes
Species epithet commemorates the Makoy nursery of Liège, Belgium.
Accepted Goeppertia species; Calathea makoyana is a familiar synonym/trade name.
Care Guide
Keep warm and evenly moist. Use soft/filtered water if leaf edges crisp easily.
