Botanical Notes

Trade/horticultural name sold as Epipremnum pinnatum 'Marble King'. Do not confuse with Epipremnum aureum 'Marble Queen'. Exact cultivar/registration status not independently verified.

Care Guide

Marble King thrives in bright indirect light and prefers to dry out slightly between waterings; overwatering is the most common cause of root rot. Pinch back regularly to maintain bushiness and variegation intensity. Easy to propagate from stem cuttings in water or soil.

Repotting

Standard aroid mix: 50% coco coir or peat, 40% orchid bark, 10% perlite. Marble King tolerates slightly snug pots and does not need frequent repotting — repot every 2–3 years in spring when roots begin to circle. Ensure pot has drainage holes.
