Description
Small heart-shaped leaves, green to grey-green with pale marbling above and often purple undersides.
Tuberous geophyte producing very long thin vines that trail from pots or climb lightly through nearby support.
Botanical Notes
Species epithet honours John Medley Wood, South African botanist and collector.
Accepted Ceropegia species with tuberous roots and long slender trailing/climbing stems.
Care Guide
Give bright indirect light and let the mix dry partly between waterings. It dislikes staying wet, especially in cool weather.
Repotting
Use a small pot and gritty, fast-draining mix. Tubers can be partly exposed; vines root easily at nodes/tubers.
Feeding
Light monthly feeding in spring–summer
