Large green leaves with white to cream marbling or sectoral variegation; variegated tissue is more scorch-prone.
Large upright clumping elephant ear; slower than green forms due to variegation.
Variegated cultivated selection of Alocasia macrorrhizos. The name is widely used for white/cream sectoral variegated giant taro types.
Needs bright filtered light and warmth. Avoid harsh sun on white tissue and avoid overpotting because large corms rot if kept cold and wet.
Repot when roots/corms fill the pot, ideally in warm active growth. Keep the corm/crown firm and not buried too deeply.
Monthly at quarter to half strength during active growth. Reduce or pause feeding if the plant is resting or semi-dormant.
